Your cat is a tiny agent of domestic destruction, and your goal is to cause as much playful mayhem as possible before your owner returns home. Points are scored by knocking things off shelves, unraveling toilet paper, and finding creative new places to nap.
You control a cat in a 3D-rendered house viewed from a fixed isometric perspective. Interactive objects glow subtly to indicate they're "cat-compatible." Knock a vase off the mantle: 50 points. Push a glass off the kitchen counter: 100 points if it breaks, 25 if it lands on carpet. Unspool the entire toilet paper roll: 150 points and a roll-animation that's worth the playtime alone. Catch the laser pointer dot that randomly appears: 200 points. The scoring system rewards the most destructive behaviors, which perfectly captures feline priorities.
Stealth mechanics add tension. The owner occasionally walks through rooms on randomized patrol routes. If the cat is caught mid-destruction (knocking over something, scratching furniture), points for that action are halved and a "disappointed" sound effect plays. If caught three times, the owner puts the cat in the laundry room for a 30-second timeout where no scoring is possible. Avoiding detection adds a light stealth layer — time your destruction for when the owner is in another room.
Cat customization unlocks through high-score milestones. Different fur patterns (calico, tuxedo, Siamese, tabby), collar colors, and the coveted "cat hat" collection (tiny sombrero, top hat, crown). None affect gameplay but the sombrero-wearing cat knocking over a vase is visual comedy that justifies the unlock grind.
Visual design renders the house in warm, lived-in detail with physics-based object interactions (items fall realistically, toilet paper unrolls with physics simulation). The cat's animation is the highlight — stretching before a jump, that specific pre-pounce butt-wiggle, the casual post-destruction grooming. Feline verdict: Playful Kitty understands cats. The destructive-scoring system is the most honest cat-game design I've seen.
